  Ich gebe 4 Sterne weil man dort SUPER nett war und auch das Essen gut. Aber für mich als Vegetarier eigentlich sehr schade, denn es gibt eigentlich nichts, was ich wirklich hätte essen können. Ich habe am Ende aber Reis mit Bohnen bekommen und die schmeckten gut, daher einen Stern dazu. Die Portionen waren allerdings überschaubar, der Preis dafür aber im Rahmen. Alles in Allem daher den "Zusatz"-Stern sehr gerne.

  Just don't spend your time and money here. We tried mafongo in different places and here was the worst! They put half green slice of tomato as a side. Really? $15 for one is not cheap, we paid the same in one rooftop restraurant for sooo much better meal. And so called Pina colada was just a conconcion of some sweet sypurs and tastes like piragua than infamous coctail. I know recipies are all different, but it means nothing if the quality of product are this low.

  Do not let the size or vibe turn you away. We walked in and almost immediately walked out because it seemed like eating in a hallway the place was so small, but the drink specials and food were top notch, not to mention a way better deal than any other place we looked at in OSJ or Condado. Give this place your money!

  Small restaurant in Old San Juan but the food is awesome. The prices are very reasonable.

  Authentic Puerto Rican food. I had the pork with rice and beans and a side of potato salad. I also got a plate of tostones. Delicious! A must go in Old San Juan.
