  Ok food and don't be in a rush. 3rd visit and consistently takes over an hour to receive food after ordered. Not due to being busy.

  I’ve been to the other location, closer to The Vanderbilt Hotel, a couple of times over the past 6 years. I make a point of going there whenever I’m in Puerto Rico. The food is consistently good. This was my first time at their new location, just a block east of La Concha. The atmosphere was fine and this new location even offers outdoor seating, the previous one did not. Fun for people watching as it is right on the main strip. I love the shrimp in garlic sauce as an appetizer and love even more dipping bread in the delicious sauce. So imagine my disappointment when the dish came without any bread and when requested the waiter responded that they didn’t even serve bread! Oh well, life goes on. My martini was great, the service was friendly and attentive, and overall the food was quite tasty. I was tempted to have the signature dish, Ropa Vieja, but passed it up for a ribeye instead.No regrets as the steak was excellent! Also, have to mention the rice and beans. They are served as a side and are quintessential Puerto Rican fare. Overall, a solid and consistent restaurant with a great location and fair pricing.

  Oysters not fresh. Don't order. Service... Maybe racist not sure. Shrimp is good, steak is good.

  Good food, friendly but not very experienced staff. I had the kan kan stake which was tasty but not pretty tender. I would recommend the place for a bit after a swim.
