::This hospital is a nightmare people there are rude and uncompassionate. My aunt which is 78 years old had her daughter at that hospital because her sugar level went beyond 1000. Her daughter was in critical condition and my aunt beside her for 3 days in a freezing room. In a rude tone they refuse to give her a blanket and water. Her daughter ended up dying. The next day the funeral tells her that the hospital informed THEM that she died from Covid19! The hospital never informed her and now she is panicking because she was next to her for 3 days. These people are very irresponsable and deserves to be shut down .

::My mom was brought in via 911 and transferred to this hospital ER. She fell with a fractured femur. After spending almost 24 hours in the ER and a discussion with management, she was finally transferred to the 4th floor, awaiting Orthopaedic surgery. She was overdosed with Morphine, and the one interaction I had with the medical team was an IM Doctor, Dr Arraut, whom lacks total bedside manners. I had a few heated discussions with him about pain meds for my moms post surgical pain. They had her on Tylenol. Would love to see him on just Tylenol after having metal put in his thigh. Additionally, none of her home meds were ever annotated, I had to look them up, write them down and give them to him to enter into the system. Still haven’t talked to the Orthopaedic Surgeon on a plan of care. Nurses act like you’re bothering them, but with the huge patient load I can’t blame them. Can’t imagine if one family member isn’t permitted to help care for the patient, its a travesty. The rooms are filthy, dated and subpar. Amazing how the emergency entrance area is being renovated, a totally different picture when you see the conditions of these floors. Air vents alone have dust and mold. Bedside chair has tears, PT bed is rusty...need I go on? Management should spend a few days as a patient in this facility to see what everyone else see’s. It’s frightening!! Would attach pics but it won’t let me.

::Grandma in the emergency room over 24 hours, finally a MRI was order at 10am. Around 2pm the escort took her to another building where the only elevator was breaking down. After 20 minutes it work again and we got to the third floor. After waiting over an hour she got called in for the MRI. Once it was done the only elevator was not working. After another hour went by it finally got fit. Grandma was the last one to be escorted to the elevator and guest what! Elevator stop working. By this time al gone for the day and we are taking back to the MRI waiting area. It’s now 4:30 pm and we are left alone, no water or food. Grandma is 92 years old and no one cares. The worse hospital service I had ever seeing.

::To begin with, the emergency room is a disaster, patients have to wait too many hours to be assigned a room and when they assign it they have to continue waiting for hours. On the floors they only have two nurses for all patients, (36 to 38). The medications do not arrive at the corresponding hours. Doctors do not inform caregivers of the studies they assign, we find out from the staff that comes to look for them or from the nurses. The beds are practically wider than the doors of the rooms and of the laboratory and x-ray rooms. I do not recommend anyone to come or bring any family member to this hospital.
