::Beware!!! You will be charged hidden fees at the counter!! After making our reservation online, we filled all paperwork at the counter only to find out that they wanted almost double the rate we confirmed online. They say that is due to Puerto Rico taxes and fees. Don’t fall for it. Go somewhere else. Worst car rental. Fraudulent practices. Not trustworthy.

::ALL WAS PLEASANTLY RESOLVED, THANKS! My reservation # U11307321. While getting my car at the counter, the woman pressured me to get the ins. and, thanks to this forum, I knew to bring proof of ins. from my credit card. I clearly stated that the only option wanted was the toll pass. As I was initialing the agreement, I saw a few additional charges . As I didn't want to delay the process, I accepted and decided to fight later. After returning home, I called yesterday and spoke with a supervisor who was patient, spoke English and took the time to review my invoice. He acknowledged that there indeed were optional charges that I didn't want. He'll email the confirmation of refund and promptly credit it to my card. I'm waiting for the resolution. I first called Dollar corporate about my dispute and was told that this location is a franchise and they couldn't help. I explained that the reservation was made on their corporate website and there was no mention of this franchise difference. Additionally, I had the same airport shuttle experience that others have detailed here about the van not showing the Dollar name but instead displaying a sun logo. Fortunately, I called the franchise location after waiting 15 minutes and was told about the sun marked van - this should be explained in advance. I was extremely disappointed that Dollar Corporate doesn't seem to be monitoring franchise locations such as this and takes no responsibility for their actions.

::The worst place to rent a car.They give you a total price online, and that's including taxes. Then, when you get there, they charge you three times the price. Plus they didn't even have any cars available for me and my cousin. We had to wait like 2 hours for our cars. Very poor customer service experience 😢

::I booked a reservation over a week before the trip. The flight was delayed after all pasengers were inside the plane. At my arrival to PR. The shuttle took over half an hour to pick us up. When we got to get the car, our reservation was cancelled due to our couple ours late. I explained the supervisor Ernesto, that it is out of our control de flight delay and their delay to pick us up at the airport. With his nasty actitud he decided not to find us another vehicle. We had to go back to the airport and rent at Alamo Car Rental, which by the way. By far is a better place and excellent customer service. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR. In response to Mr Vargas. We did not make a reservation for 9:30am due to our flight time was at 12 noon. Your reservatiin system have a glitch for sure. Impossible to reserve a car for 9:30am if our flight leaves at 12 noon. I don't see an apology for your Suoervisor Actitud afainst us. Replying to every reviews do not excime the responsibility and bad customer service of your employees. DO NOT RENT HERE GUYS, HORRIBLE PLACE TO DO BUSINESS
