::It's truly beautiful but basically if you want to enter the park, you can only do so on a tour which is a total pain and needs booking in advance. Instead, we walked along the coastline and got to experience the stunning beaches without any reservations and for free! Found the most stunning, giant conch shells, fish and white sands, hidden coves and sunbathing spots. Only saw 2 people in 4 hours, and it was entirely rubbish free. Hard to find a decent spot to swim though, ocean ground is rocky and covered in slippery creepy seaweed.

::This is one of many areas operated by this non-profit organization. Day tours fill up fast so make a reservation a few days ahead. We took the night tour which includes the lighthouse, the boardwalk out to the bio luminescent bay and a short 50 foot hike thru the woods to the sand beach to see the copepods, a microscopic animal that twinkles when disturbed. The tour was guided in English and also included a short slide show at the lighthouse. All this was in the dark and way out of my comfort range. However, it was terrific and I would definitely recommend it and go again. Very helpful and nice people, clean restrooms and a small book/visitor center round out your visit.

::Just wonderful and extremely beautiful encounter with nature at it's best. You can learn a lot from local flora & fauna and finish the tour in one of the old Spaniard lighthouses.

::It's closed to the public at the most crucial time for it to be open, they want you to pay an outrageous "kayak fee" for you to see anything that's ridiculous don't waste your time...

::Great place to visit! Rich in history and recovering nicely after the hurricanes!
