::After read these two reviews I am not going to schedule an appointment with them. I was looking for a new Gynecologist and I was reading about this office. Now I am sure I am not going to even trying to get an appointment. Thanks for let us know about your experiences.

::I've seen the woman for four years and I still don't think she knows my name. The desk staff also always seems to be very confused and has scheduled appointments for me under incorrect names and even names of my family members (?). Every time I've come in I have sat and waited for over an hour after my scheduled appointment. Consistently late. I do not feel I was ever really heard when in the office and attempting to communicate to my doctor. I was mostly spoken over and dismissed. I was given prescriptions that I never asked for (birth control) and offered zero explanation of what I was even given. Will not return and am currently looking for a different obgyn in the SJ area. Very disappointed.

::I visited this doctor for the first time in 2014 when I moved back to PR. At the time her office was in Plaza Las Americas. Overall, she provided a good service and I went back the following years. This year I went for a consultation and waited close to 30 minutes naked in a cold room because they were having lunch. I gave them a break. We all eat and have personal needs. Today I went for my annual and had a similar experience. I got there for my 3pm appointment, the assistants took my vitals, and I was assigned to a room. This time I was told to wait dressed because the doctor was going to take a while. Not a problem. The doctor indeed took a while and then came in to provide the service; all fine. When I went to pay the deductible, the secretary asked me to wait for my medical record to come by. I waited somewhere around 15 minutes. At that point I kindly asked her if she could please charge me because I had a commitment and needed to leave. She entered in a back and forth argument, claiming that I was rushing, that was unnecessary and asked the other secretary to charge me. In all honesty don't go. Health is a serious matter and health services are not a favor but a need for which we resort to particular providers. In the end, the encounter didnt talk about me but about the service that I was provided. I just needed to pay. To make it even worse, I came out and reviewed the place on their Facebook page. All I wrote was "Dr. Ashby is very kind. The secretary is simply rude. I'm not coming back." A few minutes later the review option was eliminated from the page. I'm going to assume that this was done by the secretary to avoid herself a situation. So, here's the extended version of the review, and I'm certainly not going back. Too bad.
