  Why can I not read the reviews on this place? Are they all bad, like mine? This is a short-term rental of apartments and condos. They are scattered all over the area. We made a reservation, and spent two hours trying to find the place. The location shown on the map is inside a gated community. There is no office. Contact is by text message. Cell phone battery ran down trying to find out where our reservation was. We ended up staying at the Fajardo Inn, which was very nice.

  The "facilities" are actually the Punta del Rey Marina. Pictures are very misleading. Map location is inside a gated community and there is nothing there. We stayed at Fajardo Inn, which was very nice. Read the one and two star reviews before you book.

  NO ALQUILEN AQUI/DO NOT RESERVE HERE El 5 de agosto 2016 hice una reservación con "Ocean View Villas" lo pongo entre comillas por que la realidad es que son unos apartamentos privados en un complejo o varios no estoy segura que alquilan con un nombre como si fuera un hotel. No tiene elevador, ni lobby etc. Mi reservación era para hoy sábado 27 de agosto hasta el lunes 29 de agosto. Soy de Ponce un largo tramo hasta Fajardo, estuve un mes planeando estas vacaciones con mi esposo, hijo de dos años, mi mama y mi padrastro. Hicimos una compra de mas de $100.00, emocionados llegamos a Fajardo, llevamos nuestro bote pues nuestros planes eran visitar Icacos. Llegamos al complejo de apartamento y al recibirnos el guardia muy amable nos dice que tiene que llamar a la administración por que tiene que verificar si el bote puede entrar o no, ya yo había hablado eso con la persona que hizo mi reservación y ella dijo que no había problema. El guardia nos dejo pasar pero nos advirtió que esta gente ofrecen villas y castillas y quedan mal con las personas. Llego al apartamento y siguiendo las instrucciones del contrato oprimo el código para sacar la llave del apartamento y SORPRESA!! La llave no estaba. Llamo a la persona con quien hice las reservaciones y me dice que iba a llamar al mantenimiento a ver que paso, me devuelve la llamada y me dice "te tengo una mala noticia"..."la llave no esta por que el apartamento esta alquilado" así bien normal, ademas me dijo que me iba a devolver el dinero para que yo alquilara lo que yo quisiera por allí!!!! Siiiii así como resuélvete tu y brega con eso. Nunca había tenido una experiencia tan mala, nos dejaron en la calle con una compra de carnes y todo, demás esta decir que llame a mil lugares y todos llenos o no tenían nevera, al final terminamos en un guest house que al menos tiene nevera, y lo mejor de todos ES MI CUMPLEAÑOS!!! On August 5, 2016 I made a reservation with "Ocean View Villas" I wrote it in quotes because they rent a couple apartments with that name but is a private apartment complex, this is not a hotel and dont have a elevator or a lobby. My reservation was for Saturday 27 August to Monday 29 August. I went from Ponce to Fajardo, I spent a month planning this vacation with my husband, two year old son, my mother and my stepfather. We made a grocery purchase of more than $ 100.00, excited we arrived to Fajardo, we brought our boat because we had plans to visit Icacos island. We arrived at the apartment complex and the very friendly guard tell us that he have to call the administration to verify if the boat can enter, I tell him that I spoke with the person who made my reservation and she said there was no problem. The guard let us through but warned us that these people offer magic and castles and are bad with people. I arrive at the apartment and following the instructions of the contract I press the code to remove the key from the apartment door and SURPRISE !! The key was not there. I called the person who made the reservations and she told me that was going to call maintenance to see what has happened, in a few minutes she calls me back and says "I have bad news" ... "the keys is not there because the apartment was rented " and also she told me that was going to return my money for me to rent what I wanted, Yes!!. She don't cared about my family vacations. I never had such a bad experience, we were left on the street with a grocery purchase of meat and everything else, we called a thousand places and all were full or had no refrigerator, we ended in a guest house that at least have a refrigerator, and best of all IS MY BIRTHDAY !!! Ocean View Villas Thanks for ruining my birthday and my family weekend.
