  This vacation is my first time on the island. As much as I loved every experience, the culture, and the food, I realized I wasn't eating anything healthy, and I had great difficulty finding delicious, healthy food. I came upon Pueblo Sano, while driving through the mountains not too far from San Juan. I stopped in during their soft opening, and finally, found what I was looking for- salads, carrot & pumpkin waffles, homemade dressings, medicinal teas & infused waters. All of their ingredients are locally sourced and hand-made. Absolutely delicious, and finally, a fresh, healthy meal! The decor is comfortable, modern, and chic. Carmen and Heidy - owners & chef - are great, and know how to treat their customers! They offer free Wifi and outlets at each table, in case you want to study or work. A very thoughtful cafe, where you can post up, work, and enjoy a healthy meal or snack.
