  Very welcoming staff. Nice area close to good restaurants and a few yards from the beach. Don't miss Los Pinos Restaurant, just 2 doors from the hotel. It was amazing! It was a pleasant experience!

  I stayed here from 11/25 to 11/29 and at first I liked it, it wasn't the greatest but it wasn't the worst. The hotel pictures need to be updated as they do not match the loon of the hotel or the rooms. I was okay with my room and staying there until I saw a nasty roach crawling on the wall. I was disgusted and relieved because I saw it as I was packing to go back home. It does make me wonder how many roaches I didn't see once my daughter and I were asleep. I will not be returning to this hotel...

  Great stay this past weekend. The Staff was nice. Pool area was very nice, even though more people than allowed were able to waltz in and occupy all chairs. Our room had a nice partial view of the beach, which is literally across the street from the hotel!! The area is close to many food places (walking distance). Rooms are pretty small and the bathroom is even smaller, so I wouldn’t recommend 3 and 4 people trying to occupy a double room “comfortably” ...... it worked fine for 2 people however. On the morning of checkout, the toilet decided not to flush anymore... the desk lady said something about “maintenance”.... Good thing it was time for us to leave anyway. Ohh and the hotel lobby is Elegant and beautiful (a plus for photo backgrounds ). For the price, the stay was wonderful. I recommend Tryp!

  Stayed 4 nights, 'Superior' Rooms are TINY and the bathrooms are even smaller. Very shallow sink but the shower had a decent and adjustable shower head and the water was hot! BE WARNED-the beds are very comfortable HOWEVER, the double beds are over-sized TWINS and not suitable for 2 grown adults weighing more than 150 lbs! We switched to a 'Premium' room and there was a lot more space but the space was empty but for a couple of chairs. They should think about putting a sofa in these rooms. Beds were still TINY for 2 people. Also note, there are NO direct oceanview rooms as there is a whole building directly across from this hotel. The location is great as it's LITERALLY across the street from the beach and on a strip of bars/restaurants. EVERYTHING CLOSES AT 10PM due to Covid curfew! The hotel lobby was very nice although Carlos was not too friendly when we checked in late on Thursday night.

  Excellent service! Arrived early they let me go to my room as soon as I arrive and I also needed a late check out and they let me have that. Recommend it
