  WORST UNIVERSITY EVER, STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE (ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE INTERNATIONAL) (En español más abajo) ENGLISH: This university is by far the worst one I have ever seen in my life (and I have been to many in different countries). They are embarrassingly unorganized and chaotic, incompetent and in some cases even inhuman. The treatment they gave me was awful: almost no one speaks English (or they refuse to do so), they send you to different departments and no one solves anything because no one seems to care. They just want you to pay tuition and spend money, but the university will never invest on you. The director of the international relations office pretended to be professional but he is selfish, careless, useless and clueless, his only concern is that you pay a huge amount of money for the accommodation (an old reformed classroom in which they put some beds, with a dirty kitchen filled with rotten food from previous visitants, and even cockroaches). I even witness how some international students suffered a serious accident and ended up in the hospital and the director kept charging them and their visiting families an extremely high price to spend some nights in a horrible, unclean, disgusting hole. Besides, the academic coordinator was disrespectful with the students, he made a mess and some students had to change their flights because of his inability to express himself, he’s completely null at his job and he even yelled at students when they commented on changing courses or asked for information. You will never well more unwelcome anywhere in your life. Please, PLEASE, stay far away from this university, especially if you are an international student, since you will be trapped in an awful environment, a terrible campus, a disgusting room, unable to move due to the lack of public transport and how far is everything (there are no sidewalks) and you will be losing your time and stressing out for nothing, just so that some awful greedy inhuman beings can earn an underserved salary. This place should close. On a side note, it would be unfair not to recognize the exception represented by three or four people (among thousands) whose kindness and support helped go through this painful international experience. Puerto Rican people are kind and welcoming, but Inter Metro is a huge exception to the rule and you should avoid it at all costs… ESPAÑOL: Por favor, aléjense de esta universidad, cualquier lugar es mejor. El trato fue horrible, son unos incompetentes, avariciosos y egoístas que solo quieren sacarte el dinero. A los internacionales nos tratan horrible, la oficina en la que nos reciben está llena de incompetencia y les dará igual todo lo que te pase (unos estudiantes incluso tuvieron un accidente grave y se les seguía cobrando el alojamiento mientras estaban ingresados en el hospital, además de no ayudarles con el transporte siquiera porque no hay transporte público en San Juan, otra cosa muy a tener en cuenta). No merece la pena ir a esta universidad porque lo único que conseguirás es estresarte y pasar uno de los peores momentos de tu vida. Espero que esta advertencia sirva a alguien y que por favor eviten ir a estudiar al a Inter Metro, alejaos de aquí y buscad un lugar en el que os traten con humanidad, que es lo que más le falta, sobre todo a los encargados de la oficina de relaciones internacionales. Solo un par de excepciones entre miles se salvan, ya que hubo personas que me trataron con cariño y me apoyaron en esta odisea de sufrimiento y miseria de la que salí con estrés y ansiedad. Los puertorriqueños son personas lindas y acogedoras, pero Inter Metro es una excepción, un agujero negro que debería cerrar sus puertas para evitar más sufrimiento. No vayáis aquí, por lo que más queráis, sobre todo si sois internacionales…

  I have been through 4 different universities. This is the worst costumer experience in Puerto Rico and I work closely with local Government.
