Well keeping many of the main menu items it has traditionally hold Metropol has definitely come down a notch or two on the quality of it's servings. They still feel you up and maybe a friend also but these leopard location has some of the worst Acoustics in the business.

The place was very busy suggesting a decent place. However this 3-star rating is based upon their gluten free options, or rather the lack thereof. Options were 1/2 smoked chicken (it was okay), and the Chicken Cesar Salad. While we expected the salad not to come with croutons, there was no dressing of any sort leaving just romaine lettuce, diced tomatoes and diced chicken. No dressing or spices of any sort, no cheese (including parmesan), no onions, not much flavor. Sides that one might consider gluten free were not. We got full, but I think you can do better.

The food is really good. We had fajitas, mofongo rellenos with chicken, and another dish. The server took care of us and was friendly, though he seemed a little slow coming back to check on us. The prices are set for tourists, so prepare for $15-$25 per entree. The place was packed with tourists and locals, so that's a great sign.

This place was actually recommended to us by a taxi dropping us off across the street, and we're so happy we went. It gets busy around dinner time, but they have plenty of space. All of the staff were very helpful and attentive, we never had to wait for anything. Even when I stopped eating halfway through my meal (because the portions are massive and there's a lot of food) one of the managers noticed and came to our table to make sure we were all happy. As for the food, it is all delicious. In pure Puerto Rican style, the portions are large and you'll most likely need to take some home. I do recommend their specialty dishes, as they were a big favorite and decently priced. But they do also have a menu of the day, for which there are certain specials on offer.

Get the a Red Snapper. It is outstanding. This place is always crowded with locals, which should tell you everything you need to know. Good food, very reasonable prices. Not a fancy place, but clean and well managed. You will be glad you tried it.
