  A good hotel with beach nearby. We had a gorgeous view outside our room of the ocean, pool, and coastline. Lots of local roosters in the morning, but didn't bother our sleep. A parking lot across the street for guests - but be prepared for back-in parking if you're out late in the evenings. Not hard to find from Route 3 - there are generic "Hotel" signs and arrows pointing you down the right roads near 34.2/34.3 km marker.

  The hotel is open for business post-Maria. Many parts of the building are new, having been replaced after the storm. The view of the sea from the hotel is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and gave great restaurant suggestions. You can tell that some have been there for many years. Streetlights in the adjacent area are still a bit sparse, so I would recommend having a car if staying here. There is a free parking lot for guests. Beach access directly adjacent to the hotel is limited during winter months due to erosion and rising water levels over the years, but there is a beach not far away. You could walk, but again, due to lack of streetlights following the storm, it's best to take the car if you'll be out past sunset. Having a car, this is a great base of operations for exploring the eastern part of the island. You can go kayaking in the Farjado area bio bay (open for business) or drive up to the rainforest (unfortunately still closed as of this writing, but you can get some scenic views by driving along the local roads in the area). If you are planning to be driving off the major highways into less urban areas, I would recommend a suitable vehicle. There are downed power lines, mudslides, and very large potholes.

  Beautiful view can hear and see ocean from my suite. Stayed in their suite fscing the ocean. Home like but I would have liked to have space to put my clothes other then my suit case and a table. Ice is sometimes hard to find and I think Not enough outlets. Clean rooms and staff is very friendly. Dose have a min refrigerator and a little bar you can sit at. little pool and amazing views. Would be nice if the beach was easier time get to and it's not the best place for someone that doesn't or cant walk up stairs. Breakfast is great and nice to have great price.

  I stood here with a good friend and our 2 kids. everyone was friendly the view of the water in the back is amazing at any hour of the day and very clean. everyday when we left we would come back to a room that was spotless and smelled like they had been cleaning all day. I love that.
